Terms of Use
Last updated: [add date when published]
These terms govern your use of the Life Leaps app and this website. By using Life Leaps, you agree to them.
1. What Life Leaps is
Life Leaps is an informational app that presents a timeline of commonly described developmental "leaps," spanning from newborn to 30 years old, along with reminders, journaling, and calendar-sync tools. It is provided for personal, informational, and organizational purposes only.
2. Not medical advice
Life Leaps does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified pediatrician, doctor, therapist, or other professional. Every child and adult develops differently. If you have concerns about development, health, or behavior, please consult a qualified professional.
3. Your account and content
Life Leaps does not require an account. Any profiles, journal notes, or photos you create are stored locally on your device, and you are responsible for backing them up (for example, through your device's own backup system). We cannot recover data lost when a device is lost, reset, or has the app deleted.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription, billed and managed through the Apple App Store. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are handled by Apple according to its own terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store account settings.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app. This includes attempting to reverse-engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
Life Leaps is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the developmental information presented will match every individual's experience.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Life Leaps and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on any information it presents.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
